Step
1: Placement
Setup the monitor(s) and computer.
Place the monitor and computer on a desk or work area. Be sure to place your
computer case in an area that is well ventilated and has good air flow.
This will help to prevent the computer from overheating.

2: Surge Protection
Plug the surge protector into
a wall outlet. You may also need to turn on the surge protector if it
has a power switch.

3: Monitor Cable
If the monitor cable was removed, locate it and connect it
to the back of the monitor. Finger tighten the screws, if
applicable. Repeat if using two monitors.

4: Monitor to PC
Connect the other end of the monitor
cable to the back of the computer. Repeat if using two monitors.
The ends of the monitor cable will only fit a specific way. If the cable doesn't
fit, don't force it or you might damage the connectors; flip the plug end over
instead. Make sure the plug aligns with the port, then connect it.

5: Monitor Power
Use the power cable to connect the monitor to
the surge protector. Repeat if using two monitors.

6: Computer Power
Use the computer power supply cable to connect the computer to the surge protector.

7: Keyboard and Mouse
Connect the keyboard and mouse into one of the USB ports
on the back of the computer. These
will also only fit a specific way. If the cable doesn't fit, flip the plug end over.
Make sure the plug aligns with the port, then connect it.

8: Wacom Tablet
Connect the Wacom Tablet to
the USB port and DVI port on
the back of the pc. If you are using an adapter, the Wacom Tablet may be connected using the DisplayPort or Mini
DisplayPort instead of the DVI Port.
Connect the Wacom Tablet to the Surge Protector as well.

9: Network
Determine if using a wired or wireless connection to the internet equipment (wired is recommended whenever possible.)
If using wired, connect cable
from the computer to the ISP modem/router
If using wireless, connect the wireless adapter
to a USB port on the back of your computer.

10: Headset
Connect the headset (built-in mic) into the front headphone jack
of the computer.

11: Boot
Press the power button on the monitor(s) and computer, and Wacom Tablet.
If the lights do not come on, ensure that the surge protector is switched on.
